Transparent Machines™ is a short movie by Mike Winkelmann Aka Beeple, a graphic designer from Appleton, Wisconsin, USA. Transparent Machines™ explores the contradictory nature of our actions and beliefs regarding transparency.
Our society is obsessed with the conflicting concepts of transparency and privacy. We are “outraged” by the actions of the NSA, yet continue to willfully upload more and more of our personal information to Facebook and Google.
This film was animated using Cinema4D and rendered using Vray. Additional compositing and grading was done using Adobe After Effects. All of the films Cinema4D assets are available for download under Creative Commons. These can be modified and used for any commercial or non-commercial project without the need for attribution.
